Farm & Pet Sitting Services
What is your background/experience in farm sitting and pet care?
I have been actively farm and pet sitting for 8 years. I have owned animals and have been actively working with them for 17 years. I come from a 4H & FFA Background. My first "on the books" job in high school was taking care of the plants and animals in the agricultural center on weekends, holidays, and snow days. I offer services in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. My area of service is within a 20 mile radius of Killingly, Connecticut. Major towns/areas of service include the following, but noted they are not limited. Please reach out if you do not see your town, but are located nearby/within the following areas:
Connecticut: Ashford, Brooklyn, Canterbury, Chaplin, Eastford, Franklin, Griswold, Hampton, Killingly/Surrounding Villages, Lisbon, Mansfield, Plainfield, Pomfret, Preston, Putnam, Scotland, Sprague, Sterling, Thompson, Voluntown, Willimantic, Windham, Woodstock

What types of animals do you offer care for?
We offer care for both household pets and livestock! Animals we have worked with are listed below:
Pets: Birds, Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Fish, Gerbils, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Hedgehogs, Mice, Rabbits, Rats
Livestock: Alpacas, Chickens, Cows, Donkeys, Ducks/Other Water Fowl, Goats, Horses, Llamas, Pigs, Pigeons, Rabbits, Sheep, Turkey, Quail/Other Exotic Fowl
. Standard feeding/watering of animals
. Medication administration if necessary
. Walks/outdoor play and quality time with animals
. Check ins via text message with photos in the AM and PM
Livestock: Milking services are available for an additional $10/day charge.
* Note: Watering plants (indoors/outdoors), garbage/trash and bringing mail inside are included if necessary at no additional charge.
What is included in your services?
Do you offer overnight services or boarding?
We do not currently offer overnight stays/boarding as we actively have our own pets and livestock that we need to continue to provide care to.
Please note that we do take strict biosecurity measures for all animals when traveling between locations for the safety of our animals, your animals, and other clients.
What are your current rates?
Current rates are subject to change at any time due to the current economy. Rates may also shift based upon need at each individual job. There is a flat gas fee charge of $30.00 which covers the duration of the visit for farm sitting and dog sitting jobs. Daily charge for farm or pet sitting increases on federal holidays.
Current rates are as follows:
Farm Sitting: $30/visit
Federal Holidays: $35
Dog/Misc. Pet Sitting: $25/visit
Federal Holidays: $30
Dog Walking: $20/visit
Federal Holidays: $25
Milking Fee: $10/day
