Recorded Grades

In June 2024, we finally decided to take the plunge and dive into keeping a standard breed of goat! The need for more milk has come up in our family and I also wanted a little side project that was different from Nigerians. I have long admired standards who embody the characteristics of a perfect dairy goat. For me, Recorded Grades are a perfect combination of what I want. They bring together the best traits from certain breeds and promise productivity. The decision was easy for our family, and we are excited for this new adventure!

Roy was offered to me on a whim by my good friend Ryan Blatchley when I was beginning my search for something new and different. When we went to go see her, I knew I had to have her instantly. She is a beautiful doe who is very elegant. She has tight shoulders, lovely spring of ribs, depth, rear leg angulation... I could go on and on. She is truly the full package and is going to be a wonderful doe. She is backed by many notable does in her pedigree, including Araby-Farm AHRB Just-Tina (2016 ADGA National Champion and Best Udder LA EEEE 92) and Rockin-CB RZ Haiku 8*M (2021 ADGA National Champion and Best Udder LA EEEE 94). I know the future holds wonderful things for us with this strong start! Thank you to both Ryan and Lorene for your guidance as we navigate this new adventure.
